Kot

KOT stands for Kitchen Order Ticket, which is a printed or digital order slip sent to the kitchen. It contains essential order information, allowing kitchen staff to prepare meals accurately and promptly.

When the waiter adds items and confirms the order:

• A KOT is automatically generated and sent to the designated kitchen printer or display screen.
• It includes details such as Order Type (Dine In, Take Away, etc.), Date & Time, Order Number, Table Number, Item Names, and Quantities.

Items on a KOT can also be categorized (e.g., food, drinks, desserts) to route them to different preparation stations if needed.
